02-27-2017 Positions Available: Head & Assistant Swim Coaches: Warrington Swim Team (WST) is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach.   Warrington Swim Team is a competitive summer age group swim team with in the Lower Bucks Swim League.  We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic coach for our growing swim team.

EXPERIENCE:
Competitive Swimming background
Duties and Responsibilities:
Available to coach for all scheduled practices and swim meets between Monday and Friday.  As well as occasional weekend invitationals.
Must be able to assist coaching staff with meet line ups, practice workouts, and working with the Parent Board.
COMPENSATION:
Salary wage commensurate with experience.

Dual meets are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Practices begin after school until school ends, then run in mornings between 7-10:30am.  Provides feedback to swimmers after their races during meets.
 Attends all meets (regular season and championships) and ensures coach coverage at invitational meets.
 Communicates effectively with swim team parents, parent board, pool management and township leaders.
 Attends Bux-Mont board and coaches meetings.
 Fosters atmosphere that encourages good sportsmanship and team spirit.

01-31-2017 Positions Available: Head & Assistant Swim Coaches: Ply-Mar Swim Team (located in Plymouth Meeting, PA) is recruiting for qualified candidates to fill Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions for the 2017 summer season.  Season runs from the Tuesday after Memorial Day through the last Saturday of July.  Candidates must be available through entire season.  Meets are held primarily on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings, with 3 Saturday morning meets (one at beginning of season and 2 Championship meets at end of season).  Practices begin in afternoons until school lets out, then run in mornings, typically between 7am-12noon.  Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to swimteam@plymar.org for consideration.  See job descriptions below.

PLY-MAR Swim Team Head Coach Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversees all levels of swimming of the Ply-Mar Swim Team Program
- Coaches all team levels at least once per week (varsity, junior varsity, developmental).
 
- Supervises assistant coaches and ensures appropriate practice coverage by coaches
- Develop practice workouts and actively engage in practices with swimmers; develop technical skills of swimmers
- Provides feedback to swimmers after their races during meets
- Attends all SSL meets (Relay Carnival, regular season meets, division championships and A Championships)
 
- Communicates effectively with swim team parents and swim club board members/team liaisons (for example weekly newsletter, use of team email account)
- Recruits new swimmers from club membership
- Maintain clubís Hy-Tek Team Manager database of swimmers
- Attends SSL Coaches meeting (typically in early June)
- Write all meet line-ups
- Participates in other team activities:
  4th of July parade, team pictures and whirlpool, swim-a-thon, team games and developmental mini-meet, pasta dinner, season end team party

Successful candidates will need to show they can be RELIABLE, PUNCTUAL, FOCUSED, NURTURING and ENERGETIC as well as have a clear sense of FUN!

Although we teach swimming to all ages and abilities, the majority of our students are pre-school and elementary-aged children so you really have to enjoy working with this young age group and be able to put their parents at ease too. Experience of working with children or in a child oriented business is preferred, although not necessary if you can still demonstrate the desired attitude that would make you a good fit for our team.

The position includes 45-50 hours of specialist training in our highly-developed proprietary methodology.

The pay range is from $10.00 -- $14.00 per hour based on education, certifications and experience.

If you do not have the required certifications, we can help you with that!

If you have certifications and experience (including lifeguard certification), we will pay you for that!

Schedules are flexible around weekday mornings, afternoons and or evenings (10 am - 8pm) and Saturdays or Sundays (10 am - 2pm). A minimum of 10 hours from these options is required.

You must be at least 18 years of age and you must be able to work weekends.
