RE: Central Division Champs - Girls

We look forward to hosting the Girls Central Division Championships on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Deck opens at 10:45am. Warm-up will start at 11. The meet will start promptly at noon. We will run one session and the events will be in the same order as all SAL meets.

Warm-up Assignments

Hatboro Horsham – lane 1 & 2 Upper Dublin – 4, 5, 6

Springfield – 3 & 4 Abington – 1, 2, 3

Wissahickon – 5, 6 **Warm-up ends at 11:55**

Entries should be sent using the meet manager template available at the League website or the Dolphins team website. Look for the link posted by our webmaster. Please e-mail your entries to Dana Burkhart, meet registrar, at imspoiled1@comcast.net (gotta love her e-mail address). All entries are due by Thursday January 24 (midnight). No late entries. Note: We will make any needed adjustments stemming from A Champs scratch meeting.

Volunteers

Timers – 3 per lane

Abington Lane 1 -- Hatboro Lane 2 -- Springfield Lane 3 – Upper Dublin Lane 4 – Wissahickon Lane 5. Lane 6 -- one each from Wiss, Spring, and HH. Wissahickon will also be responsible for a head timer.

Stroke & Turn Judges – one each from UDAC and Hatboro.

Ready Bench – two from Springfield.

Abington will be responsible for the announcer, starter, runners (2), ribbons (2), and the computer and timing systems (3).

Important: each team will be permitted to have two and only two "Deck Moms" on the pool deck with their team. No other parents are allowed on the pool deck before or during the meet.

A snack bar will be selling drinks, pretzels, hot dogs, candy, fruit, coffee and water. A program will be available and really cool T-shirts will also be sold. If you have a team sponsor or supporter who wants to buy an ad for the program book, please have them call me. We will share revenue with your team if you refer an ad sponsor (50/50).

Reminder: to make the meet more competitive, shorter, and to limit your "league dues" for next season, enter only those swimmers that plan to attend division champs.
